I've decided to take down the old site until we get some new tracks going. I will get the lyrics back up and put show dates and info here soon. For now, here's a video from our featured set on 7/22 at Rob's open mic at Teavolve featuring Plunge, Day 1579, Tennessee American Exports, and Indie Girl Phase Transition. and a live recording of Dan playing Plunge solo at Hotel Utah Open Mic in San Francisco.

About TGOF

The Great Outdoor Fight is a trio that was slowly extracted from the DC/Baltimore area acoustic open mic scene during the later part of the oughts. 00's. Whatever. Singer, songwriter and guitarist Dan Zimmerman is joined by multiply talented bandmates Rowan Corbett on percussion and vocals and Sharif Kellogg on (mostly) piano. TGOF plays intelligent, catchy acoustic rock that's at once a little bleak and a little beautiful, a little strange and a little hopeful.
